Aloha!

I’m Taleea, the heart behind Wailua Granola Co. & The Granola House Kaua‘i.

My husband and I were both born and raised here on the island, and together we’re raising our three beautiful children — La‘iku, Kailea, and Likeke (16, 15, and 4 years old). After waiting many years, our third little blessing truly completed our family.

When we’re not in the kitchen or at the café, you’ll usually find us at the beach, exploring new local eats, traveling, and making memories together. I especially love watching my kids thrive in the activities they’re passionate about — from soccer to hula to paddling.

FOR THE LOVE OF GRANOLA

HOW IT ALL STARTED

When you think of the word  'granola', what comes to mind?

Oats blended with a variety of nuts and seeds? Or maybe oats and toasted coconut drizzled with honey?

In 2017, Taleea, baker and owner, created a granola blend to gift to friends and family for Christmas, which became a frequent request thereafter.  She and her family frequently enjoy acai bowls, but could not find a granola that they all liked, so she decided to bake her own.

​Wailua Granola Co. was established in March of 2020 with her first brick and mortar, The Granola House, to open in 2023.  The company quickly grew into retail and wholesale while simultaneously becoming a vendor at various markets on Kaua'i.

​Wailua Granola Co. focuses on using organic, gluten-free, and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. This includes fresh Kaua'i-grown coconut, which is hand-processed weekly, and sourcing raw local honey from apiaries throughout Kaua'i.

Use Wailua Granola Co. granola on açaí bowls, yogurt parfaits, or enjoy by itself for a fresh and yummy snack on the go!
